CardPatterns Sketch 120

I wanted to make a card for a dear friend who lost someone very close to her today.  I never quite know what to say or how to react when hearing about death.  I ultimately think that everyone grieves in their own way.  And my immediate gut reaction is to console and support.  It's not much, but I wanted to let my friend know that I'm thinking of her.

For some inspiration, I used the sketch at the Card Patterns Blog (Sketch 120).

Here's the sketch:

This is what I did with it:

SUPPLIES:
Solid Card Stock:  Kraft Cardstock (Joanns)
Patterned Paper:  Amy Butler's Sola Paper Pack (K&Co.)
Ink:  VersaMark (Tsukineko)
Embossing Powder:  White Zing (American Crafts)
Punches:  Butterfly (Martha Stewart Crafts), Circle (Fiskars), Scallop Circle (Marvy Uchida)
Border Punch:  Threading Water (Fiskars)

And what would a blog post be without a photo of Charlotte?  Well, it just wouldn't be right.  And whenever I'm feeling a bit down, looking at photos of Charlotte always makes me smile.  So we'll end with a photo of Charlotte playing with her new bubble maker.
