About Me

How I got started scrapbooking...
I first started scrapbooking in early 2010 during maternity leave with my daughter. However, I have been collecting stickers and pretty paper since I was a kid. My gateway into traditional scrapbooking was scrapbooksteals.com and the community of amazing crafters there. I began doing more digital scrapbooking and design in 2012 because of JessicaSprague.com and specifically because of my love of the designs by Splendid Fiins.

My style is...
Clean and Purposeful. I also love bright colors and all things that are cute.

When scrapping I rely on...
For traditional scrapbooking, I rely on my awesome Xyron adhesive and fun stamps.  For digital scrapbooking, I love brushes. There’s a brush for everything - stitching lines (which my fellow CT members know that I’m obsessed with), graphic elements, word art. I think it really helps to finish off a page.

I get inspiration from...
This varies but recently, I find a lot of inspiration in the books that I read to my kids (illustrated board books), and also in the paper collection itself.

My guilty pleasure...
Since moving to Hawaii, it has to be poke. Raw tuna mixed with awesomeness and deliciousness! Yum!
